What age groups do you cater to?
Our programs are designed for all ages, from children to adults.
What skill levels do you accommodate?
We offer lessons for new golfers through to those at professional level. All are welcome!
Where do we meet for lessons?
If this is your first lesson please meet your Professional at the entrance to the Driving range, which is located to the left of the clubhouse.
What do I wear?
There is no dress code. Please where something that is comfortable and suitable for the weather on the day. Trainers are advised if you do not have golf shoes.
Are non-members allowed to have lessons?
No, lessons are available to anyone who wishes to sign up and can be a great way to meet golfers at the club.
Do I need my own equipment?
No, we will provide you with any necessary equipment required for the lesson. However, if you do have your own equipment we encourage you to bring this with you.
Can I schedule lessons on weekends?
Yes, we offer lessons on weekends to accommodate busy schedules.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid being charged for the lesson.

Who is the Learn to Play Golf program for?

What does the Experience Day involve?
The Experience Day is a fun introduction to golf, led by PGA Professionals. You’ll get to try out different aspects of the game, participate in group activities, and meet other beginners. It’s a great way to see if the Learn to Play program is right for you!
How is the program structured?
The Learn to Play program is divided into three levels:
- Level 1: Four 90-minute introductory classes.
- Level 2: Eight 90-minute intermediate classes.
- Level 3: Eight 90-minute advanced classes. Each level includes group coaching, on-course experiences, and practice sessions.
What will I learn in the program?
You’ll learn essential golf skills, including swing techniques, short game, putting, and course play. The program also covers golf etiquette, rules, and strategies to help you become course-ready.
Do I need any previous experience to join?
No prior experience is necessary. The program is designed to accommodate complete beginners, and each level builds on the one before, so you can progress at your own pace
What equipment do I need?
If you don’t have your own equipment, don’t worry! We provide all the necessary equipment for the Experience Day and during the classes.
How long does it take to complete the program?
Each level runs for several weeks, and the full program can be completed at your own pace. You can progress through Levels 1, 2, and 3 depending on your comfort and skill level.
Can I attend practice sessions outside of class?
Yes! We offer Practice Clubs that provide additional supervised practice sessions focused on different aspects of your game, such as swing, short game, and putting.
What are the Course Play Events?
The monthly Course Play Events give participants the opportunity to practice their skills on a 9-hole course in a supportive environment. These events are included in the program and are a great way to gain on-course experience with fellow learners.
How do I sign up for the program?
You can easily sign up for the Learn to Play program by visiting our website and registering online. You can also contact us directly if you have any questions or need help getting started.
What should I wear for the sessions?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities, including golf or athletic shoes. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen for sunny days!

How do I purchase a gift card?
You can purchase a gift card online through our online coaching store. Just select the amount you wish to gift or the custom gift card option and complete the checkout process.
How can the recipient redeem the gift card?
Recipients can redeem their gift card by using the unique code at checkout on the online booking system or coaching store.
Do gift cards expire?
Our gift cards are valid 1 year from the date of purchase.
Can I customize the gift card?
Yes! You can choose an amount to purchase using the Custom Gift Card option and also at checkout add a personal message to appear on the virtual gift card.
Do I receive an electronic gift card or is it posted to me?
Gift cards are sent electronically via the email you input on purchase. If you would like a physical voucher posted to you please contact a member of our team.

What happens if I need to cancel a lesson in my coaching plan?
We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. If you miss a lesson without notice, it will be deducted from your coaching plan.

What qualifications do the coaches have?
All our coaches are highly skilled, DBS checked, first aid trained, and have completed safeguarding courses to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
Can my child play on the course?
Absolutely! Enrolled participants have free access to our monthly playing events, which allow them to compete and play in a friendly setting, starting from just 50 yards away on each hole.
How does the program measure progress?
Our curriculum is designed around clear learning outcomes and a progression system with six levels. Children earn rewards for completing individual challenges and advancing through the levels, which keeps them motivated.
